​Tun Lin is the founding president of Arakan College (AC). At AC he directs strategic planning, curriculum design, and partnership development, and serves as the college’s primary spokesperson. Before co-founding AC, he established the Professional Learning Academy (PLA) to widen access to the high quality education in the conflict-affected communities of Arakan. 

​He is currently pursuing an M.Ed., in Higher Education Leadership and Student Affairs at National Louis University (USA). Tun Lin earned a B.A. in Myanmar Literature from Yangon University in 2015, and a Diploma in Community Leadership and Social Studies from Kant Kaw Education Centre in 2017, and completed advanced certifications in curriculum development and instruction. Over the past decade he has also held leadership roles at the Pichaung Institute and Kant Kaw Education Centre. 

​As a representative of Myanmar, Tun Lin has participated in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, the UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris, and the ASEAN‑Australia Young Leaders Forum. His professional mission is to cultivate a generation of resilient, civically engaged changemakers by delivering accessible, rigorous education and leadership‑development opportunities across Arakan and beyond.
